Handrail - Flat iron
For safety and comfort reasons, a guardrail, a window sill, or a stair railing requires a handrail. This element typically crowns the cast iron protective rail. The handrail can be added to an existing structure or replaced for restoration.
Our master foundrymen are able to adapt our handrail models to all cast iron constructions made according to your needs. It is also possible to replicate your guardrail, your support bar, your cast iron window sill, or wrought iron.
Our handrails are made of wood or iron, then painted. The flat iron, a durable and solid material, has been worked by the Birdie foundry family since 1850 to ensure its fastening and finishing qualities.
